HI! My name is Brandi Alyssa Young, I am an actress currently living in SC. I have done stage and film and am focusing on my TV/Film career. My ultimate goal is to move to Los Angeles where I can find more projects to fulfill my dreams. I am also a singer and dancer and would be an asset to any TV/Film set. I know my set etiquette and follow direction well. I am also home schooled and can be portable in a nanosecond! I have my NY and CA work permits and I also have my passport. Although I will only need my work permits til May, 2013, as:
I will be 'Legal 18' in May,2013!!
Some of the charities I support are for animals, Scoliosis, Environmental agencies, Autism and to feed the poor. I think of myself as somewhat of a tree hugger and eccentric. Some of my peeps think I am weird and that's OK. I am happy with me and that is what matters!
That's the beauty of being an actress! I can be whomever and do whatever I want and be someone or something I am not. It's WONDERFUL!! I LOVE IT! See you on set!

5/13/2013: Congrats to all the YAA winners! I am honored to be in your presence! Maybe third time's the charm. I feel like Meryl Streep! ;-) My script made it to finals, but not further...HEY! Not bad for my first script! I'll take it! I also met some wonderful new contacts, I feel will be great friends, there was a lot of 'clicking' with people, so I am very grateful! Onward and upward!! 4/21/2013: My very first script: Tiger Lili, has made it into its 5th Festival! This is the United Film Festival, in LA! I am in the Short Drama Category and first of only Three! http://www.theunitedfest.com/awardwinners/
3/31/2013: OMG! What a day. I hope you all had as good a Easter as I did! My script, Tiger Lili, was accepted into prestigious Beverly Hills Film Festival AND...wait for it....I was NOMINATED for another Young Artist Award for my role of Michelle in The Dark One! YAY!! Maybe I will win this year. It is on a sad note: the founder Maureen Dragone, passed away, so I am also going to be celebrating her life!
3/26/2013: I just found out that my short Script was accepted into another film festival in Vegas! That's TWO for Vegas, how weird is that?
3/24/2013: The most fun weekend at the most fun Mad Monster Party! I meet and interacted with a bunch of celebrities there. See my Set/Event pictures for just a few I was fortunate enough to get pictures with, just because I'm awesome like that! LOL I even had a few people 'fangirl/boy' on me and that was an experience! Awesome weekend!! Oh and Yeah: 3 of my projects were playing: The Silver key, Two Rounds and The Dark One!
3/16/2013: Attended MaruCon and promotion of The Dark One! Had a Blast!
2/23/2013: Wrapped a short film for the CFC, called 'Afraid.'
2/16/2013: Sang at the National Assoc of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Classical Division, I placed Third!
2/2/2013: Photo shoot for a horror short I wrote.
1/19/2013: The premiere of my short I co-wrote, The Silver Key! Finally! What a fun time we had catching up with the cast and crew!
